Construction of new premises Serres Toundra, Canada

After having conducted a feasibility study, AAB was granted the contract by Serres Toundra for designing a greenhouse horticulture business with -in its final stage- an area of approximately 40 hectares for the purpose of growing cucumbers.

The complex is located in the Province of Quebec, where, among others, climatically challenging conditions should be taken into account. The heating will be partly accomplished by using waste heat from the local paper mill.

The greenhouse complex will be erected in four phases. The design also includes a section for propagation. Meanwhile the first phase of 8.5 ha was officially opened in December 2016.

AAB INT provides construction management of the complete project and employment and management consultancy to Serres Toundra.
